Griffith Park is the Los Angeles version of Central Park. It spans over 4300 acres and has a number of really fun activities for little ones. The Griffith Park Train Ride is year round but from November 25-December 30 they have a holiday ride with twinkly lights, snow man towns, nutcrackers and fun Christmas decorations for all your little ones to enjoy. Each ride is $4 per person and kids under 18 months are free. If you go earlier in the day without the holiday lights on, train rides are $2.75 per person. If you’re making your way over to this train ride, bring a picnic basket and some cash to stop by the horse rides, gorgeous carousel and playground!
Skirball Cultural Center

The Skirball Cultural Center is an educational organization and museum in the Los Angeles area devoted to Jewish Heritage. Open to families from all backgrounds, this cultural campus hosts a family festival dedicated to celebrating Hanukkah. Come bring your families and check out the music, dance, printmaking, storytelling, and other family friendly events this season! The Skirball Cultural Center offers many different family friendly exhibits, free parking, a café and outdoor seating for families.
