The “luck of the Irish” comes to the Farmers Market all day on Friday, March 17th. Festivities include live musical performances, traditional Irish food, and fun child-friendly activities. And don’t forget to stop by Magee’s Kitchen (the first eatery at the Farmers Market) for their famous corned beef and cabbage.

11th Annual Santa Monica Airport Artwalk
Airport Ave., Santa Monica, CA

Families are invited to the 11th Annual Airport Artwalk on Saturday, March 18th from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The day’s activities include art and theater workshops, demonstrations, food trucks, live musical performances, hands-on opportunities, and more at this free event. L.A. Nature Fest

The Natural History Museum is hosting L.A. Nature Fest this weekend, Saturday, March 18th and Sunday, March 19th from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm each day. Families will learn all about “L.A.’s wild side” including plants, animals, and the scientists who work to protect them. Held in the outdoor Nature Gardens, families will enjoy performances, hands-on activities, presentations, demonstrations, nature walks, and more. Check the website for a schedule of events. The L.A. Nature Fest is included in general Museum admission. Tickets are available online.

4th Annual Huntington Beach Cherry Blossom Festival

Celebrate cherry blossom season in Huntington Beach on Sunday, March 19th from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. This free event features Japanese dance and musical performances, cultural exhibits, food, games, and arts and crafts. (Huntington Beach’s sister city is Anjo, Japan).

Meet-and-Greets With Peppa Pig and PJ Masks Costume Characters

The Los Angeles Zoo is hosting Peppa Pig on Friday, March 17th and  Saturday, March 18th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and PJ Masks on Sunday, March 19th from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm. Kids will have a chance to meet their favorite characters this weekend. (This special event is included in general Zoo admission). And don’t forget while you’re at the Zoo, take advantage of the opportunity to feed a giraffe! Twice a day (at 11:00 am and 2:30 pm), families can get up close and feed these incredible animals. (An additional charge of $5 is required to participate in giraffe feedings).
