4th Annual SoCal Moms Great Big Family Play Day

The 4th Annual Great Big Family Play Day is happening on Sunday, May 7th, from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Described as the “ultimate family festival and expo,” this special event features live entertainment, food, samples, carnival rides, hands-on activities, and much more. Passes are available online.

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo all weekend long at the city’s free annual celebration. The festivities begin Friday, May 5th and continue through Sunday, May 7th. Enjoy musical and dance performances and food.

Free Comic Book Day

Saturday, May 6th is Free Comic Book Day. The annual event was “founded on the belief that for every person out there, there’s a comic book they’ll love.” Local comic shops welcome comic book readers to stop by and enjoy a free comic. Families are invited to the May Day Festival at the Bowers Museum on Sunday, May 7th from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm. Children will enjoy live musical performances, have the chance to make spring art projects, and more. The Festival is free, but regular admission applies to the Museum.

Celebrate Israel Festival

The Celebrate Israel Festival is happening at the Cheviot Hills Recreation Center on Sunday, May 7th from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. This community event will celebrate the State of Israel with guests learning about the history, landmarks, and culture of Israel. Marathon Kids Rookie Run

Families are invited to a free, fun, family-oriented run around Dodger Stadium on Saturday, May 6th.
