BRA Network’s Annual Women on the Rise Luncheon
MomsLA was recently invited to attend the BRA-Network’s annual “Women on The Rise” luncheon to Benefit Dress for Success in honor of Women’s History Month. It was an honor to help them “celebrate creativity and collaboration with women that are breaking barriers for female entrepreneurs everywhere.” Proceeds from the “Women on The Rise” luncheon went to Dress for Success Worldwide West.
BRA-Network (Business Relationship Alliance) is an entrepreneurship group of MOMPRENEURS, founded by Carrie Murray (Wife of Sean Murray on NCIS) to provide a seamless way for women to get business and emotional support for their entrepreneurial ventures.
The women honored at the event were each accomplished and amazing in their own way. They included:
Elena Vasilevsky (Honored with Visionary Woman of the Year), editor-in-chief of the national INLOVE magazine, that was founded to give back to her home country of the Ukraine.
Toni Purry (Honored as Empowerment Leader Award) for her bestselling book, MY HYPE BOOK that is an inspiration to all BRA members in getting their business started
Xochitl Hernandez– Director for Dress for Success Worldwide – West and recipient of the proceeds on behalf of the organization she runs.

As part of the education BRA provides, members can participate in unique CourseSet classes designed to help them cinch up their business mindset and develop their business from the inside out. CourseSets are four weeks of workshops on topics such as; Business Plan Development, Website Design, Social Media Marketing, Product Development, Strategic Branding, Accounting and Finance, Public Relations and Legal Expertise.
In addition, Carrie throws weekly co-working sessions or Business Boostiers, where members come together and share in their experience to seek advice and develop partnerships, again providing opportunities for women to collaborate with one another.
We encourage all our Mompreneur readers to learn more about InLove Magazine, My Hype Book, Dress for Success Worldwide – West, and of course, the BRA Network. MomsLA has recently joined and we’re hoping some of you will, too.
