Yoga is Better With Friends Plus a Giveaway

I always feel calm and energized after I’ve been to a CorePower Yoga class. CorePower is heated yoga with many different levels from unheated beginner yoga to heated yoga with weights. CorePower recently asked MomsLA if we wanted to get some of our friends together for a morning class at the studio in Westwood.

We tried out the CorePower Yoga 2 class, which is heated between 95 and 98 degrees and described like this: “Turn stress into sweat. This signature class strengthens, balances and detoxifies your entire body and mind as you move through more challenging postures and connected breath. Set to an energizing playlist, you’ll power up your yoga practice like never before.”

It was my first time taking the C2 class and some of our guests hadn’t done yoga in quite some time or had never been to heated yoga. It was an athletic group of ladies so I wasn’t worried about them being able to physically do it, but I was really hoping that everyone liked it and felt good when the class was over.

The class was challenging, but we were able to keep up and do well. We took the class first thing in the morning and I felt great all day. We had such a good time that we’re giving away a month at CorePower Yoga to someone who has never been before. See the Rafflecopter below for details.

Before the class started, I made sure to check out the store inside the studio. It has cute workout clothes, yoga accessories and a good sale rack.

I was not compensated for this post, but I, along with my friends, was a guest of CorePower Yoga for one class. As with any diet and exercise plan, check with your doctor before you begin.
