Dine LA Is Back July 25-Aug 8, and It’s Hungrier Than Ever

Los Angeles has a lot of food weeks. Taco weeks. Burger weeks. Vegan sushi pop-ups that last just long enough to become TikTok famous before disappearing into the algorithm. But then there’s Dine LA Restaurant Week, the OG of LA’s culinary calendar, and this summer, it’s returning in full force from July 25 to August 8—with more restaurants than ever.

Clocking in at nearly 450 participants across 88 neighborhoods and 33 global cuisines, this year’s Dine LA is going big. Like, big-big. Think two-Michelin-starred Mélisse rubbing shoulders with beloved local gems like Coni’Seafood in Inglewood. For parents who haven’t eaten anywhere that doesn’t offer chicken tenders in the past six months, this is a rare and glorious window to get out, try something new, and maybe even remember what warm food tastes like.

And while Dine LA has always leaned on its star power (hello, Cabra at the Hoxton), the 2025 lineup also does something pretty rare: it makes room for the little guys. Among the 80 newcomers are spots that feel especially rooted in their neighborhoods—like Soban, a family-run Korean standout in Koreatown; Koast, a new venture from Chef Kevin Meehan; and Neighbors & Friends, a woman-owned café bringing some serious heart (and possibly sourdough) to Old Town Pasadena.

Price points remain refreshingly democratic, with prix fixe menus ranging from $15 to $65 and up. Translation: you can grab a midday steal or go all-in on a multi-course date night—maybe even both, if you can finagle a sitter for back-to-back nights. (Live a little.)

And let’s talk hotel dining, because apparently that’s a thing we do again. If you’re into making a whole night of it, you could hit Openaire in Koreatown (yes, the one with the dreamy greenhouse vibe), then collapse gloriously into bed upstairs at THE LINE. Or maybe try About Last Knife (ALK) at The Godfrey Hotel—perfectly positioned for a Sunset Blvd stroll before heading home.

Behind all this is LA Tourism, whose goal here isn’t just to feed you—though, fair. It’s also to give local restaurants a mid-year boost, encourage culinary exploration, and remind us all why LA remains one of the most exciting food cities in the world, even if your toddler thinks rice cakes are haute cuisine.

So whether you’re planning a blowout anniversary dinner or just want to sneak out for an uninterrupted adult conversation over a plate of handmade pasta, Dine LA is your moment.
