Enchant Christmas Is Bringing Its Glittery Holiday Chaos to Santa Anita Park—And Yes, There’s an Ice Slide

Southern California isn’t exactly known for its frosted holiday vibes, but this year, we’re getting a dose of seriously sparkly cheer. Enchant Christmas—the over-the-top, light-strewn winter spectacle that’s been dazzling families from Dallas to D.C.—is finally making its Los Angeles debut. Starting November 21, Santa Anita Park will transform into a 10-acre holiday playground, complete with twinkling lights, ice trails, festive food, and a Christmas maze so big they’re calling it “The World’s Largest.”

Whether you’re a die-hard holiday decorator or just looking to burn off some preschooler energy somewhere other than your own living room, Enchant might be worth penciling into your seasonal plans. Think of it as a kind of holiday Disneyland, minus the rides and with significantly more sequins.

The light maze is the marquee attraction—a storyline-based scavenger hunt where guests search for “magical sculptures” in a labyrinth of Christmas lights. Yes, it’s a bit extra, but that’s the point. Kids can help “save Christmas,” which, as any parent knows, is code for “run around in sensory overload while we sip hot cocoa.”

Beyond the maze, there’s a legit ice skating trail (real ice, not that plastic stuff), a 10-lane ice slide for the thrill-seekers in your crew, and all the usual suspects: Santa, Mrs. Claus, live music, karaoke nights, and a curated holiday market with artisan gifts and West Coast-y cocktails.

Planning your company party or a big family outing? Enchant’s got options for that too—private suites, catering packages, even full buyouts if you really want to flex your holiday spirit. And yes, they’re hiring seasonal staff, so if someone in your orbit is looking for festive employment, it might be worth a look.

Tickets go on sale this summer, with early access starting July 9 for email subscribers at EnchantChristmas.com. If you want first dibs on weekend slots, set that calendar alert now.

Is it a bit over-the-top? Absolutely. Will your kids lose their minds (in the best way) when they see it? Also yes. And isn’t that kind of the point of the holidays?

L.A., consider yourself officially enchanted.
