Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle Escape Room and Video Release

We don’t agree on everything as a family, but we all agree that Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle was very entertaining. To celebrate the release of DVD release on March 20th, we were invited to experience the Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle Official Escape Room. We wondered if it would be as good as the movie and worth the drive for us to get to 60Out Escape Rooms on Melrose to experience it.

It was so worth it and very entertaining. It was our first escape room and the only thing we knew about escape rooms was from a recent episode of Portlandia. Everyone thought I would be the one to start screaming, “I want to get out!”  Mostly I kept moving an object from one corner of the room to the other and asking, “why isn’t this working?!”

The escape room was really well done. We started by climbing through a window to get into a bedroom.

The escape room is for 4 to 8 people and we only had 4, which I think made it quite challenging. I was thrilled when we made it to the second part of the challenge.

It really felt like we were in on a movie set.

I don’t want to give anything away so I won’t get into detail about what happened next. But I will say that we had so much fun figuring out the puzzle that we’re hooked on Escape Rooms. Next time, we’ll bring more people and I will help out more instead of taking pictures.

You can start booking your Jumanji Escape Room experience at 60out Escape Rooms, 7270 Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90046 , today for bookings that begin on March 29th. Some of the spots are already full so book asap if you’re interested.

To conquer the mysterious adventure, participants must assemble a team of 4-8 people and have 60 minutes to embrace a role in the world of Jumanji. After following a series of puzzles, participants will be faced the ultimate task: Return the emerald eye to the sacred jaguar monument and flee the dangers of the jungle.
