The signature treatment, called the Moroccan Hammam Ritual, lasts 120 minutes, and is described as “…a cleansing, detoxifying journey with an ultimate tactile and sensory experience.” The two body treatments are the Aroma Renewal Experience, which lasts 90 minutes and involves aromatherapy and includes a full body massage with warm stones, and the Turkish Salt Scrub, which lasts 30 minutes, and is an energizing thermal salt exfoliation, leaving skin smooth and soft.
I was invited to sample the Turkish Salt Scrub on my hands, and I am not sure my skin has felt this good since I was a baby. They combine the salt with their lavender oil, which means your skin smells good, too.
Shutters on the Beach also has a signature nail color, created by Essie, called “My Heart Shutters for Essie,” which I was also very pleased to try.
The setting at One Spa is truly luxurious, and Shutters on the Beach is a wonderful hotel property, creating a feeling of being at an opulent, private beach cottage, even when sitting poolside.
