Los Angeles, Summer is here, and we suspect some of you still haven’t signed your kids up for Camp yet. How do we know? Because all these awesome Camps still have open spots. MomsLA is not immune to procrastination, so we aren’t judging you, but now is the time to book Summer Camps for your child. Take a look at this great list and have fun choosing from the best Summer Camps in Los Angeles.
Held the Annenberg Beach House in Santa Monica, this Summer Camp is a mix of academic and engaging activities. Social and emotional awareness are emphasized, there is STEAM integration and Masters-level teachers – with a 3:1 student to teacher ratio.
Los Angeles County Lifeguards will be instructing beginning, intermediate, and advanced sailing classes. All sessions will be held in Marina del Rey at 13640 Mindanao Way. Curriculum will include knot tying, basic sailing knowledge and terms, boat maintenance and rigging, tacking, docking and ocean sailing. Sailing is open to boys and girls, ages 11-17, who successfully complete a 100-yard swim test in 2:20 minutes or less.
Young people ages 7-11 who love music will come together at a beautiful studio in Culver City to write original music, explore music technology, play music games, and have fun in a creative environment. And they will leave with an EP of original music at the end of the session!
Swift Nature Camp is an Overnight Children’s Summer Camp for boys and girls ages 6-15 located in Wisconsin. Our focus is to blend traditional summer camp activities while increasing a child’s appreciation for nature, science and the environment.
