If your kids live for loud engines and you secretly enjoy the smell of gasoline and victory, mark your calendars: Monster Jam Freestyle Mania is rolling into Crypto.com Arena August 22–24, and it’s bringing something Los Angeles has never seen before—Monster Jam trucks teaming up with freestyle motocross riders. Yes, you read that right.
Billed as “2x the freestyle action,” this new event combines the iconic 12,000-pound trucks you know and love (hello, Grave Digger and El Toro Loco) with FMX bikes that match them in style, flash, and defiance of gravity. Eight truck-and-bike duos will go all out in five competitions, featuring everything from 2-Wheel Skills and Racing to Best Whip and Best Trick.

And this isn’t just spectacle—you get to score it. Fans will vote in real time for their favorite stunts, saves, and all-out chaos to help crown each day’s Team Event Champion. It’s interactivity with exhaust fumes and midair flips, aka peak summer family bonding.
Among the line-up:
Grave Digger® (Tyler Menninga & Kyle Boone)
Sparkle Smash (Kayla Blood & Kassie Boone—yes, it’s a family affair)
Classroom Crusher (Camden Murphy & Gregg Duffy)
El Toro Loco®, Megalodon®, ThunderROARus, and more.
If your kid is already practicing backflips on the couch or begging for a dirt bike, there’s also a Monster Jam Trackside pre-show with interviews, giveaways, and behind-the-scenes looks to stoke the hype an hour before each event.
When to Go:
Friday, Aug 22 at 7:30 PM
Saturday, Aug 23 at 1:00 PM & 7:00 PM
Sunday, Aug 24 at 1:00 PM & 7:00 PM
Where:
Crypto.com Arena – 1111 S. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA 90015
Tickets (and Pit Passes) are available now at AXS.com
This isn’t your usual Monster Jam—it’s part motor mayhem, part daredevil theater, and a full-send weekend that’s just as much fun for the grownups as it is for the kids. Wear earplugs. Bring your loudest cheer. And maybe… prep the family minivan for some post-show monster truck roleplay on the way home.
