Pixar Putt Brings “Fore!” to Anaheim—Now Extended Through Summer

You’ve done Disneyland. You’ve walked Downtown Disney. But have you mini-golfed through Inside Out’s Headquarters or lined up your putt next to Wall-E? Good news, parents: Pixar Putt—possibly the cutest pop-up in Anaheim—is sticking around through August 17, 2025.

Originally slated for a shorter stay, the whimsical 18-hole mini golf course has officially extended its run at the Pixar Place Hotel at Disneyland Resort. Translation? You’ve got all summer to sneak in a round, whether you’re entertaining out-of-town guests, wrangling kids on summer break, or simply looking for an excuse to feel joy in a putt-putt-sized package.

What Exactly Is Pixar Putt?

Picture this: eighteen holes, each themed around a different Pixar classic—Toy Story, Coco, Monsters, Inc., The Incredibles 2, and more. It’s a mashup of clever design, bright colors, and low-stakes competition that’s genuinely fun for both kids and adults. Think less “serious golf bros” and more “yes, I will absolutely take a selfie next to the house from Up.”

Pixar Putt is one of those rare family outings that doesn’t feel like a compromise. There’s nostalgia for parents, wonder for kids, and enough quirky course challenges to keep teens off their phones (at least for a few holes).

When & Where

You’ll find Pixar Putt indoors at the Pixar Place Hotel (1717 S. Disneyland Drive). It’s open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. (with a slightly later close at 10 p.m.), and tickets start at $25. Booking online is highly recommended—especially as the summer crowds roll in.

Also just announced, the hotel’s “Small Bytes” which is their quick-service restaurant on their pool deck, just announced Pixar Putt-themed snacks for great pre-game or post-game munching. And you can watch the Disneyland fireworks nightly from that spot as well!

Pro Tips

Yes, strollers are manageable. Yes, there are cute photo ops. No, there’s not a prize for the lowest score (but you can invent your own).

If you’ve got little ones, note that the course is more “walk-through art playground” than toddler-proof jungle gym—best for ages 5 and up, but stroller spectators are welcome.

Worth the Hype? TOTALLY!

It’s not a substitute for Disneyland, but it is a surprisingly charming way to spend an hour or two. Pixar Putt nails that sweet spot between kitschy and clever. Plus, it’s a much more affordable way to soak in the magic without dropping a week’s paycheck on churros.

So if you’re looking to break up your summer with something light, playful, and genuinely joyful, Pixar Putt might just be the hole-in-fun you didn’t know you needed.
