We are with Hillary Clinton

“We believe it would be a disservice not to use our platform to say loudly and clearly, We Are With Her!”

MomsLA is a business. We are a registered LLC, we pay taxes and we have clients. But we’re also a platform that has always, in our small way, attempted to stand up for women and children. The focus of our business has changed over the years from one that talks about our lives raising kids to one that talks about services for parents from summer camps to after school programs to fun things to do in Los Angeles with kids.

As a business, it might not be the smartest thing to take sides. But we believe it would be a disservice not to use our platform to say loudly and clearly that We Are With Her! We are 100 percent supporting Hillary Clinton, the candidate who speaks with dignity and clarity about how she will lead the country.

We are with Hillary Clinton

There are so many reasons to support her, but fundamentally it comes down to this; the impact of a Trump presidency would be detrimental to our children’s future. Trump doesn’t appear to understand how government works or have any interest in current events. He’s a hate-monger who feeds off of people’s fear.

We teach our children not to be bullies so why would we ever support one? He has time and again resorted to name-calling. He has made fun of disabled people, called Mexicans rapists, used the words like fat, ugly, pig and dog when describing women and told a woman to “Be quiet” during a press conference. We will not be quiet.

We will not be quiet because we don’t think it’s right to stand by and let a Trump presidency happen. We can’t look back and tell our children that we didn’t say something because we were worried we’d lose blog followers or brand sponsors.

It’s not just that we are against Donald Trump and everything he stands for; we believe in Hillary Clinton. We believe in her because she represents us; hardworking mothers who aren’t flashy and who don’t talk in sound bites, but work their asses off to make the world a better place. She’s not going to have you jumping off your couch, whooping at the television when she gives a speech, but she’ll go to work every day and continue to make the country great. Not just for white men. Not just for the 1 percent. Not just for herself. For Us.

The president himself said it best. Hillary Clinton is more qualified than he was or even her husband, former President Bill Clinton, to be president. She’s qualified. She’s dignified. She is 100 percent the best candidate for president. And we believe in her.

Michelle Obama said in her speech on Monday night, “And look, there were plenty of moments when Hillary could have decided that this work was too hard, that the price of public service was too high, that she was tired of being picked apart for how she looks or how she talks or even how she laughs. But here’s the thing. What I admire most about Hillary is that she never buckles under pressure. She never takes the easy way out. And Hillary Clinton has never quit on anything in her life.”

And we will not quit on her.

THANK YOU! Like Ruth Ginsberg, I can’t even imagine what a Trump presidency would look like – I think something like that scene in Back to the Future II when Hill Valley became Biff Tannen’s’ Pleasure Paradise!

People always talk about what you could lose when you speak your truth, but not about what you might gain. I clicked over here for the first time to find activities for my children and I, and this was the first thing I read. I thought, “This page/blog is definitely for me.” You’ve earned yourself a loyal follower. While I’m not in love with Hillary; I couldn’t even imagine the disaster that would come with Trump being elected. You get two choices and you choose the better one. Hillary is the better choice.

If “women and children” were the only issue in this Presidential election, I could agree with you. However, that is not the case. Concerns over national security, illegal immigration, and the economy transcend the aforementioned.

Hillary is superb at getting elected and appointed . . . however, her many failed performances and poor judgment once in office make many wary of her. Just ask the spouses, children, and relatives of those who fell in Benghazi as a direct result of her inaction . . . and the list could go on and on.

This is not to say that Trump isn’t a flawed candidate. However, in the “business” of running the United States, I prefer someone who overwhelmingly achieves success in his endeavors (with some notable exceptions) and says things he should not to someone who talks well but has had several significant failures and instances of poor judgment once given the mantel.

Oh well, if elected, maybe hillary will finally get it right by her 3rd or 4th year of on-the-job training as president.
