Discovery Cube Los Angeles and Discovery Cube OC are hosting Winter Wonderfest with real snow!

Our family was invited to participate in the Winter Wonderland exhibit at Discover Cube Los Angeles this past Saturday. Sadly, we didn’t realize there were two Discovery Cube museums in SoCal and went to the one in Orange County (thank you google). Visiting Discovery Cube OC was one of the most beautiful and memorable moments for our family since it was Charlotte’s first time seeing snow!  Here are some fun pictures and details from our day.

Winter Wonderfest at Discovery Cube OC had so many fun things for kids to do!  Charlotte played with snow, learned about the physics of friction, rode a tub down a giant slide and down snow hills. It isn’t just for toddlers. There is something for every age at the Winter Wonderfest!

Here are some of the stations and attractions you can find below.

Snow Sledding: Friction Sleds

There are two sledding stations available: one for toddlers and one for big kids. Such great fun!

Tubing: Inclined Planes

A 75-foot slide for those adventurous adults and older kids!  There is also a smaller slide that is about half the height for younger children (toddlers not included).

Learning Stations

There were several learning stations around the Winter Wonderfest for children and adults to learn about friction and the physics behind sliding/sledding/tubing down different surfaces. Such a fun way for little ones like Charlotte to learn about science without even knowing it!

Snow Play: Frozen Fun

This was the perfect sensory station for Charlotte to play and discover snow. She was able to build tiny snowmen, throw snowballs at her dad, and toss up snow bits into the air.
