The annual Spider Pavilion returns to the Natural History Museum beginning Sunday, September 16th and continuing through November 25th. Slowly stroll through the Pavilion and explore a variety of spiders and their intricate webs. Timed tickets are available online; admission is free for Museum members.

21st Annual Fall Harvest Festival

Underwood Family Farms hosts its 21st Annual Fall Harvest Festival from September 29th through October 31st (from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm each day). The Festival includes lots of fun activities such as tractor-drawn wagon rides, live musical entertainment, a hay pyramid, access to Pick-Your-Own fields, a pumpkin playhouse, animal show, corn maze, and much more. Check the website for fees and a schedule of events. (Different activities may be available only on the weekends). Additionally, Friends of the Farm Weekend is happening on Saturday, September 29th and Sunday, September 30th; Farm Country Weekend is planned for October 6th and 7th, and Antique Tractor Weekend takes place on October 13th and 14th. Go Little Tokyo for a Spooktacular Second Year of Haunted Little Tokyo

WHAT: The Little Tokyo community welcomes you back for a month full of frightful fun as the neighborhood transforms into Haunted Little Tokyo for a second year on select nights through October 1 - October 31, 2018. Ghouls, ghosts, and goblins of all ages are invited if they dare to experience Little Tokyo with pumpkin patches, trick-or-treating, spooky sounds, ghostly games, free Halloween movie screenings, ‘haunted’ walking tours, themed specials, and more ending with a frightfully-fun block party and costume contest on Saturday, Oct. 27. DETAILS: Experience Little Tokyo like never-before as the heart of Downtown LA oozes with spooky themed-activities and evenings full of frightening-fun. Pick your pumpkin during the weekend pumpkin patches and dust off your cauldron for a cooking workshop presented by the Japanese American Cultural & Community Center (JACCC). Disguise your little monsters for ghoulish games, trick-or-treating and FREE family-friendly movie screenings including Mary and the Witches Flower (Friday, October 19th at 6 pm @ The Japanese Village Plaza) or face your fears and sleep with one eye open after watching classic Japanese horror flicks including the 1987 supernatural film Prince of Darkness (Friday, October 5th at 7 pm @ Union Center for the Arts). Those daring enough to hear the sinister stories of Little Tokyo’s ghostly friends and the city’s history should tag along for the Little Tokyo haunted walking tours with the Little Tokyo Historical Society (LTHS). Indulge in bone-chilling drinks and devilish desserts as the month-long celebration wraps up on Saturday, October 27 for the Haunted Night in Little Tokyo: The Block Party, brought to you in partnership with Councilmember Joze Huizar CD 14. Come for the costume parade, live entertainment, beer garden, exclusive food and drink discounts, and more. Pumpkin Nights

Pumpkin Nights, beginning October 12th and extending through November 4th (from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm each night, is most likely unlike anything else you have ever seen. “Explore fantastical lands, built using over 3,000 hand-carved pumpkins and funkins” at this special event. Wander through eight different pumpkin-themed lands, enjoy nightly entertainment, snack and dine from local food trucks, and more. Children can participate in a special scavenger hunt, dig for treasure in Pumpkin Pirate Cove, get their faces painted, and more. Tickets must be purchased in advance and are sold for specific dates and times. General admission prices are $20 for guests ages 13-59; children 4-12 are $16; seniors 60+ are $16; children 3 and younger are free; and a family pack (2 adults, 2 children) is $60. (Pumpkin Nights is closed on Halloween).

Both artists wished to present their exhibitions in this section of Hollywood Forever, where the most population with Hispanic heritage are buried. This exhibition will be open for a limited time from October 10th until November 4th at the ABC Hall at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Event starts 9:00AM and ends at 4:00pm. Monday to Sunday. Event is located inside the ABC Hall at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
