Visit Santa Claus at “his ocean-side workshop” at Santa Monica Place. Santa will be available for photos from November 21st through December 24th. There will also be Pet Photos and a special Breakfast with Santa. Check the website for details on how you can make a reservation.

Photos with Santa can be taken following the Breakfast in any half hour increment beginning at 11:30am. Both Breakfast with Santa and the photo op will take place at Santa Monica Place (Third floor in cafeteria).

ONE winner will be chosen at random Friday morning, December 6th – and must be available to attend the breakfast on December 7th in Santa Monica, California. Winner will be asked to provide the following information in order to process the tickets: first & last name, contact info, and number of guests (including adults).

Santa’s Holiday Visit to Disney California Adventure

Meet Santa at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in Disney California Adventure Park from November 8th through December 24th. “Redwood Creek Challenge Trail has been transformed into a holly, jolly, joy-filled playground, complete with seasonal games and outdoor activities for all to explore.” Santa will be available for visits at the Ahwahnee Camp Circle.

Santa is ready to spread joy to kids and families at the Ontario Mills Mall. Santa arrives November 8th giving you plenty of time to get out, get some holiday shopping done, and visit with Santa! L.A. Zoo Lights

L.A. Zoo Lights is a yearly holiday light extravaganza. Each night from November 15th through January 5, 2020, between 6:00 pm and 10:00 pm, families will marvel at the “world’s largest illuminated pop-up storybook, a magical disco ball forest, giant glittering snowflakes, and a twinkling tunnel filled with dynamic swirls of color.” Santa Claus will be available for photos on select days (November 14, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24, 29, 30 and December 1, 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 16-23) from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Thousands of twinkling lights and sparkling ornaments will adorn the coastal village alongside weekend snowfall and lively entertainment bringing the magic of the wintery holiday season to Southern California. Sunday, November 24th is the tree lighting celebration – and will culminate with Santa’s grand arrival. Santa’s Cottage will open November 25 and run through December 24, from 9am – 9pm, with a portion of proceeds benefitting Children’s Hospital LA.

Holiday Train Rides

You have a few train ride options including the Sugar Plum Express, a 1-2 hour train adventure which also provides the chance to take photos with Santa, and the Polar Express Train Ride, a 1-hour train ride to visit with Santa at the “North Pole” and featuring the sounds of the film soundtrack. From November 29th through December 23rd, 2019, ride the train through thousands of twinkly lights to stop at the “North Pole” where visits with Santa in his village are extraordinary. Laguna Beach invites families to its Winter Fantasy. The Sawdust Festival grounds will resemble a winter wonderland featuring 180 artists creating a variety of different art media including ceramics, jewelry, sculpture, woodwork, painting, and more. In addition, you’ll find 3 stages of live holiday entertainment, outdoor cafes, holiday-themed festival classes, art demonstrations, visits with Santa Claus, and more. You can visit on weekends (November 23-24; November 29-30; December 1; December 7-8; December 14-15; and December 20, 21, 22 from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm each day). Tickets are available online.

2nd & PCH Selfies with Santa

Long Beach’s new destination retail center will host Santa for Selfie Time, and Mrs. Claus will be there for story time, as part of their holiday activities, kicking off on November 22nd.

Celebrate the holidays with the marine animals at the Aquarium of the Pacific. This special event begins December 7th and continues through December 23rd. Families are in for a lot of special treats including holiday music, a display of gingerbread houses, snow fall in the Great Hall, a scuba-diving Santa, costumed characters, a holiday menu offered in Cafe Scuba, and more. On weekends, the Aquarium will also have a snow play area, photos with Santa, children’s crafts, Hanukkah storytelling, and much more. (General admission fees apply).

Holidays at The Grove

The Grove is home to a 100-foot tall fir tree, decorated with more than 15,000 lights and 10,000 ornaments. Additionally, you can experience a “snowfall” each evening at 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm. 9th Annual Holiday Concert and Santa on the Pier

Save the date! Saturday, December 14th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm is the day for the 9th Annual Holiday Concert and Santa on the Pier event. Families will also have a chance to take an only-in-L.A.-photo: a selfie with Surfing Santa. Also, don’t forget to bring a new, unwrapped toy (valued at $5 or more) to participate in the Toy Drive and for a chance to win pier prizes.

Plaza West Covina invites children and their families to share their wish lists with Santa Claus inside the center’s spectacular holiday Ice Palace, a 30-foot-tall ice dome with falling snow, a light show, and larger-than-life snow globes. Visitors can also leave an icy handprint and sit on the chilly ice throne. After visiting with Santa, each child will receive a special gift, while supplies last.
