Grand Hope Park in Downtown Los Angeles

Address:

W 9th Street and Hope, Los Angeles, CA 90017
Open 7am to Dusk

Play area:

There is one play area in this park that is suitable for all ages. The rubber surface allows for easy playing for new walkers and bigger kids.

Amenities:

Grand Hope Park is quiet and perfectly manicured. The 2.5 acre park was built to bring functional art to the urban setting, which you can see in the clock tower, the fountain, the angel status at the entrance, and the coyote statues all around the park. There are gates all around for safety and a guard that walks around at all times. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed at this park.

Parking:

There are paid parking lots within walking distance of this park or metered parking all around the permitter of the park.

Where to grab a coffee or snack:

Grand Hope Park is located in the heart of downtown in an area called South Park. There are a ton of restaurants, coffee shops, small pop-up food trucks, and fun stores surrounding the area. Walk across the street or a few blocks on each side. If you want to make this stop one of many, check out the Fashion District, Little Tokyo, and the Arts District nearby!

Vibe:

Grand Hope Park is a gorgeous park in the center of Downtown Los Angeles. In the mornings you will see young men and women jogging through the park. At lunch, you will see students of FIDM and those working nearby will stop to eat and read on a bench. In the afternoon you will see families playing near the fountain and the playground. This gorgeous park is perfect for all and an oasis to those living and working nearby. Take a moment to check it out!
