Exploring Seoul International Park in Koreatown

The Los Angeles area is filled with great parks that your kids will love to explore, but you may not have had the chance to visit them all. We want to help you find all of the great parks so we’re exploring parks from the beach to downtown to the valley. This week, we visit Seoul International Park in Koreatown.

Play area:
The Soul International Park playground is perfect for children of all ages. There are different sized slides, climbing areas and swings to fit any age. The rubber surface area is safe and easy for children and families to run around. There are sun shades above the playground to make it easy to come any time of the day or year. The entire children’s area is completely enclosed with a small parking lot nearby. Safe and very easy to get to with little ones.

Amenities:
This park is located on the corner of Irolo and San Marino streets. It features an auditorium, baseball diamond, playground, picnic tables, basketball courts, outdoor fitness equipment, walking path and a small parking lot for visitors. Year-round, his park hosts after school classes, sports programs, preschool classes, holiday events, teen clubs, and so much more. Please check out their schedule to sign up your little one!

Parking:
There is free parking at the park and around the perimeter of the park.

Where to grab a coffee or snack:
Seoul International Park is located in the heart of a bustling city and there are places to eat and shop just blocks away. Walk one block down to Olympic and you’ll find that every block up and down that street has a number of different places to eat, grab coffee, or shop for groceries. Need to make a deposit or grab some quick cash?  Chase bank is just down the street off Olympic and Irolo.

Vibe:
Seoul International Park is the perfect park for families and locals in the area. On the weekends, sports teams fill the baseball diamond and basketball courts. Many families are gathered in the play area with their kids and picnic baskets full of treats. A number of people are also walking on the trails and using the exercise equipment on the side of the park at any given time. If you live near the area, this is the perfect park for families and friends.
