MomsLA was invited to check out the Lunar New Year celebration at Universal Studios Hollywood, which runs from February 10 – 25th, so we could share all our insider tips with you. There are so many fun things to do and see at Universal, especially during Lunar New Year.
The gang from Kung Fu Panda is out in force, with a Dragon Warrior Training Show and special noodles and dumplings at Mr. Ping’s Noodle Shop. Plus, Dreamworks animators will demonstrate how they draw the characters from the movie series.
But those aren’t the only aspects of the park that are ready for the Year of the Dog. Megatron has brushed up on his Mandarin, Universal Plaza is decorated with red Chinese lanterns and pear blossom Wishing Trees, and the Despicable Me Minions have a whole new wardrobe.
Of course you can also do all the other fun stuff you love at Universal Studios Hollywood while you’re there, like visit Springfield, take the studio tram tour, spend time in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, ride Jurassic Park or the Mummy, and the best part is: all the Lunar New Year events are included with your regular admission price.
MomsLA was given tickets to Universal Studios.
