Go skating at Ice at Santa Monica presented by Disney+ and Hulu, the city’s beloved holiday tradition, now celebrating its 17th season. From November 7, 2025, through January 19, 2026, the seasonal ice rink at 1324 5th Street will transform Downtown Santa Monica into a winter wonderland by the beach, welcoming families and friends to create unforgettable holiday memories. 

Holiday Ice Rink Pershing Square

The Holiday Ice Rink at Pershing Square is opening again in Los Angeles! Offering lots of winter fun, it’s the city’s largest outdoor rink, welcoming over 54,000 skaters each year. The rink will be open from November 20th through January 11th, 2026. There will be an opening celebration on Thursday, November 20th, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, which will include special performances, treats, and skating. Tickets are available online and must be purchased in advance.

Skating by the Sea at the Hotel del Coronado

If you feel like scheduling a little getaway, think about the famous Hotel del Coronado. From November 21 through January 4, 2026, “the iconic resort shimmers and shines as its signature red turrets are draped in thousands of sparkling lights with magical Christmas trees, snowy surprises and garlands galore filling the property with holiday cheer.” Find info about Holidays at the Del.

Christmas at Santa’s Village – Silver Bells Arena

Experience holiday magic in the snowy mountains! During the winter months, the Silver Bells Arena transforms into a beautiful frozen pond. The magic lasts from November 13 through January, 2026. There’s a reason that so many Christmas carols talk about skating: it’s one of the best ways to make magical Yuletide memories. Skate rentals are included with park admission. Socks are required. Guests are also welcome to bring their own ice skates.

From November 1st through January 5th, 2025, families can take a drive to the Irvine Spectrum Center for the chance to Skate Under the Stars! The popular ice skating rink is located in Giant Wheel Court and is open daily. Thirty-minute skating lessons are also available on Saturdays. Check the website for prices and details. 

LA Kings Holiday Ice

Starting Friday, November 24 and running through December 31st, the city’s largest and most popular outdoor ice rink will return to L.A. LIVE in downtown Los Angeles just in time for the holiday season. This year’s rink is proudly presented by Coca-Cola® and supported by Blue Shield of California, CD Law, Mammoth Mountain, Big Bear Mountain Resort, and Los Angeles Department of Water & Power.
