Play area:
There are two play areas, one for older kids and one for toddlers. Both playgrounds have rubber surfaces, which are clean and safe for kids. All around the play areas there is a wide lawn area that is perfect for picnics and for kids to ride bikes, blow bubbles or play with other lawn toys near the playground.
Amenities:
Roxbury Park is 11 acres with two playgrounds, a community center, a small library, lawn bowling, basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, tennis courts, a preschool, bbq pits, picnic tables (that can be reserved), clean bathrooms, water fountains, metered parking, and acres of lawn for outdoor fun. No matter what time of day you go, you will see people and children of all ages taking advantage of what this park has to offer.
Parking:
There is metered parking around the entire perimeter of the park.
Where to grab a coffee or snack:
There are vending machines inside of the community center for cold drinks and yummy snacks. The park is less than a mile from Urth Cafe, Coffee Bean and other restaurants on Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills.
Vibe:
Roxbury Park is incredible clean and well maintained. There is a security guard that is constantly walking around the property. Families gather to watch kids in the play area and/or celebrating a birthday, many people play tennis, baseball, lawn bowling, etc throughout the day. Roxbury Park is incredibly family-friendly, safe and easy get in and out of during the day.
