LA County boasts over 500 miles of trails, and they work in partnership with the National Park Service, California State Parks, the Mountain Recreation and Conservation Authority, the Mountain Restoration Trust, and the Catalina Island Conservancy.
The Getty Villa is described as “a one-of-a-kind destination offering ancient Greek and Roman art, tranquil gardens, and ocean breezes.” In other words, a pretty marvelous place to spend the day! This is a great place to take kids, especially when you’re all in the mood for a low-key experience in a beautiful setting.
When it’s time to clean out the kids’ closets and get rid of those clothes they no longer wear and/or fit into, keep in mind that there are many organizations that would be happy to receive donations of gently used children’s clothing.
