Big Bunny’s Spring Fling
Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens

Celebrate spring and Easter with many fun activities at the L.A. Zoo from Friday, March 30 through Monday, April 1 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Activities include seed-planting crafts, face painting, live entertainment, photo opportunities, the chance to learn about real bunnies, and much more. All activities are included with Zoo admission except photos with the “Big Bunny.”

9th Annual Easter Fest 2018
Grand Hope Park

Celebrate Easter in Downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, April 1st from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. 15,000 eggs will be hidden (several egg hunts will happen with children grouped by age). Kids will also enjoy face painting, bounce houses, arts and crafts, music, food, and more. Admission is $5 per person (children 2 and younger are free) or $25 per family (up to 7 people). A significant portion of the proceeds goes to help ministries in Skid Row helping homeless families and children. Tickets are available online, and it is strongly recommended to pre-purchase tickets. The event will be capped at 2,500 people. 

Easter Breakfast
Battleship IOWA
250 S. Harbor Blvd., San Pedro, CA 90731

The historic Battleship IOWA is celebrating Easter Sunday, April 1st with a special breakfast served at 9:00 am. The buffet breakfast is $40 for adults and $30 for children 17 and younger. There will also be a petting zoo, visits from the Easter Bunny, and more. After breakfast, families can participate in a complimentary tour of the Battleship. (Tickets must be purchased by March 27th).

Blessing of the Animals

The Blessing of the Animals is an annual tradition that has been celebrated here since 1930. On the Saturday before Easter (March 31st), families are invited to bring their pets to be blessed. In addition there will be live musical entertainment, a petting zoo, pony rides, food, and fun. The blessing begins at 2:00 pm (with a line forming at 1:00 pm), and entertainment is scheduled from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Hornblower Cruises Easter Brunch and Supper Cruises
Fisherman’s Village

Celebrate Easter Sunday, April 1st on a Hornblower Cruise. They are offering brunch cruises at 9:30 am, 10:30 am. Cruises are either 2 or 2 1/2 hours in length and include live entertainment, photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny, a buffet, and champagne. Check the website for sample menus and booking information.

Easter Springtime Festival
Underwood Farms

Underwood Farms is celebrating Easter on Saturday, March 24th – Sunday, April 8th 9:00 am to 6:00 pm each day. A variety of Easter activities are planned including games, races, photo opportunities, and more. In addition, admission also includes the Animal Show and Tractor -Drawn Wagon Ride. Admission is $6 on weekdays and $10 on weekends and March 30th, 31st and April 1st. Children under two are free.

Egg-ceptional Celebration!
Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden
301 N. Baldwin Ave., Arcadia, CA 91007

The L.A. Arboretum invites families to its Egg-ceptional Celebration on Saturday, March 31st from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Children of all ages can participate in egg hunts (with baskets being provided). There will also be make-and-take activities, refreshments, an egg scramble, and more. Cost is $5 per child plus admission to the Arboretum.

Easter Sunday Brunch
The Queen Mary
1126 Queens Highway, Long Beach, CA 90802

The Queen Mary is offering an Easter Sunday champagne brunch on Sunday, April 1st from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. In addition, the Queen Mary will have several family-friendly Easter activities from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm including a petting zoo, balloon twisting, games, face painting, and an Easter Egg Hunt. Brunch is $69.95 for adults, and children 4-11 are $24.95. Check the website for details and to make a reservation.

Malibu Bluffs Park

The Easter Bunny will be in Malibu on Friday, March 30th from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Children up to age 10 are invited to hunt for eggs, enjoy bounce houses and art activities, food trucks, and more. Be sure to bring your own basket. Admission is free though certain activities do charge a fee. Check the website for a schedule for the easter egg hunt. Everyone receives one prize! (Editor’s Note: The date has been changed to March 30th. Was previously March 23rd).

Spring Time at the Adobe

Celebrate Spring at the Leonis Adobe Museum on Saturday, March 24th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The event features live music, spring-themed crafts, an egg hunt, and more. Admission is $6 per person, with children under 2 entering for free.

Rancho Santa Susana Community Park

The city of Simi Valley hosts its egg hunt on Saturday, March 31st at 9:00 am. This free event is designed for children 10 and younger. Children will be grouped by age to search for the eggs. Don’t forget to bring a basket from home.

Breakfast with the Bunny

The City of Agoura Hills invites families to its Breakfast with the Bunny on Saturday, March 24th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Children will enjoy spring crafts, egg hunts, games, light breakfast refreshments, and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny. Admission is $2 per person and free for children younger than 2.

Families can celebrate Easter with a special breakfast at the Aquarium of the Pacific on Sunday, April 1st from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. This buffet-style breakfast includes a variety of foods to keep even the pickiest eaters happy. You’ll find vegetable frittata, blueberry french toast, fruit, potatoes, pastries, and more. ($50 for adults, $25 for children 3-11. Tickets can be reserved online).

Egg Hunt
Kidspace Children’s Museum
480 N. Arroyo Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91103

Kidspace Children’s Museum is hosting a special egg hunt on Saturday, March 24th and Saturday, March 31st. At different times throughout the weekend, children of different ages will search for hundreds of candy-filled plastic eggs (bring your own basket). Families will also create spring art, learn the bunny hop, and pet real rabbits. Pre-registration is required for all children and is available online. Tickets are $6. (Museum admission is not included in the egg hunt).

The Bunny Trail Jr. Egg Hunt

Children eight and younger are invited to the Bunny Trail Junior Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 24th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Eggs will be hidden along a trail and while children search, they’ll also enjoy face painting, crafts, a petting zoo, and time with the Easter Bunny. Cost is $3 per child. Tickets must be pre-purchased at Juan Bautista de Anza Park.

Spring Eggstravaganza
Garfield Park
1000 Park Ave., South Pasadena, CA

Garfield Park is hosting its annual Spring Eggstravaganza on Saturday, March 31st from 11:30 am to 2 pm. The fun includes pictures with the Bunny, an egg hunt, food, games, inflatables, and more. Tickets are available online for $5 per child, $8 on the day of the event. Children of different ages will hunt for eggs at different times — check the website for a schedule.

Easter Lunch 2018
Fillmore & Western Railway Co.

Celebrate Easter on a train! The Fillmore and Western Railway Company presents it Easter Lunch on Sunday, April 1st. The train departs at 12:00 pm and returns at 2:30 pm. The Easter Bunny will visit while families dine and enjoy the countryside. Reservations are required. (Check the website for the menu and prices). 

Egg Bowl and Spring Festival
Rose Bowl Stadium

The Egg Bowl comes to the Rose Bowl on Saturday, April 1st from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. This free event features puppet shows, egg hunts, and more. After the egg hunt, enjoy the city of Pasadena’s Spring Festival with art exhibits, food and face painting.
