The Blessing of the Animals is an annual tradition that has been celebrated here since 1930. And this year, it’s back! On the Saturday before Easter (April 16th) from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, families are invited to bring their pets to be blessed. The festivities also include live musical entertainment, food, and fun. 2. 2022 Easter Eggstravaganza

The 2022 Easter Eggstravaganza is happening on Saturday, April 16th from 10 am to 2 pm. This free community event features arts and crafts, visits and photos with the Easter Bunny, food, live music, and more. Additionally, the City of Camarillo invites families to participate in its Big Egg Hunt happening April 8th through April 16th. A downloadable Bingo Sheet is available online. Eggs will be hidden at various city-wide parks. Details are available online. 

3. Springtime on the Farm

Underwood Family Farms hosts its annual Springtime on the Farm event beginning on Saturday, April 2nd and continuing until Sunday, April 24th (from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm daily). The festivities include many fun activities including tractor-drawn wagon rides, lots of fun photo opportunities, an animal show, Trike Trail, Harvester Slide, and much more. Other activities are also available for an extra fee such as egg-dying, animal petting areas, train rides, and more. Weekend entry now requires on-line tickets. Details are available online.  

4. Springtime at the Adobe

Celebrate Springtime at the Leonis Adobe Museum on Saturday, April 9th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. This annual event features live music, demonstrations of Rancho life in the 1880s, lots of family fun, and more. (Free for children under 2; admission is $8.)

5. Hoppin’ Photos with Bunny

2ND & PCH invites the community to Hoppin’ Photos with Bunny April 9th and April 10th 11:00 am – 5:00 pm and April 16th 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm on Seaport Way. Capture memories and grab a selfie in front of a spring-themed backdrop, including a vintage Volkswagen bus. Crafts and additional activities will be provided by Family Church in Signal Hill on April 16th. Hoppin’ Photos with Bunny are on a first come first serve basis; a photographer will not be present – selfies are encouraged.

6. Bunny Trail Junior Egg Hunt

Children eight and younger are invited to the Bunny Trail Junior Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 9th from 9:00 am to 11:50 am. 7. Easter Hilltop Luncheon

8. Easter Eggstravaganza

From March 26th through April 16th, families can have some springtime fun at Irvine Park Railroad. The Easter Eggstravaganza includes many fun activities such as egg hunts, games, and train rides, as well as the chance for children to meet and have their pictures taken with the Easter Bunny. 10. Spring Egg-stravaganza Event
Veterans Park

The City of Culver City is hosting a Spring Egg-stravaganza Virtual Event. Families can choose to participate on either Saturday, April 9th or Sunday, April 10th. “Families use cell phones to search at their own pace through various Culver City parks for ‘eggs’ (QR codes on egg posters).” Participants will all wind up at Veterans Park to collect prizes and enjoy a photo opportunity with Mr. Bunny. The experience is not expected to take longer than 2 hours. Pre-registration is required, and registration ends Thursday, April 7th. Details are available online. (There is a $10 fee per family.) 

11. Spring Family Eggstravaganza
La Bonita Park

The City of La Habra is hosting the Spring Family Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 16th from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. This special event will include “two helicopter egg drops, egg hunts, games, crafts, kids’ activities, balloon twisters, music, GO trailer, and vendor booths.” Details, including the schedule for egg hunts, are available online. 

12. Annual Easter Egg Hunt

The Sierra Madre Volunteer Firefighter’s Association presents its Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 16th at 10:00 am. This free event features candy, eggs, and the Easter Bunny (for children 12 and younger).

13. City of Glendora Easter Egg Hunt

15. Gilchrist Farm Spring Fling and Egg Hunt

19. The Collection at RiverPark

Shopping center visitors can enjoy some special time with “everyone’s favorite bunny and pose for a special picture.” A variety of photo packages are available for purchase. Photos are available April 8th and 9th from 11 am to 7 pm, April 10th from 12:00 pm to 6 pm, and April 15th and 16th from 11 am to 7 pm. The Spring Bunny Scavenger Hunt runs throughout the month of April. The Collection’s Spring Bunny has placed pictures of some of his favorite spring items all over the shopping center, and now he wants help finding them. Visit Guest Services to pick up a map, and then hop around The Collection to search for the items. Guests who complete the hunt can show their completed map to the Bunny helpers at Guest Services to enter to win an egg-tastic prize!

The City of Agoura Hills invites families to its Breakfast with the Bunny event on Saturday, April 9th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Children will enjoy spring crafts, egg hunts, games, snacks, and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny. Details are available online.

21. Easter Egg Hunt at Santa Anita Park

This Easter Weekend Santa Anita Park is featuring their annual Easter Brunch and an Easter egg hunt featuring over 35,000 Easter eggs, an appearance by the Easter Bunny, an Easter arts & crafts with egg decorating and sand art, Spring Carnival rides, pony ride and baby goats exhibit as well as Horse Racing all day. Easter Brunch and Spring Carnival Tickets sold separately. Egg Hunt tickets: Admission to the Infield is $5 (includes a Program & General Parking). Kids 17 and under are FREE with paid adult. Egg Hunts will be sold day of the event for $4 per Hunt. Easter baskets are available for sale at the event location. Cash only! The first hunt will take place at 11:30 am. There will be 11 hunts (last hunt after Race 8) – and they are sure to sell out. The Museum was founded in 1993 and currents houses more than 45,000 “bunny works of art from antiquity to contemporary art.” The Museum will be open on Easter Sunday, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
