Updated for 2024

Raise your hand if you like a nice slice of pie! Whether it’s with a cup of coffee or after Thanksgiving dinner, pies are a terrific dessert treat!

And if you’re not the baking type, there’s no need to worry! Los Angeles is filled with bakeries and pie shops where you can get pie by the slice or bring home the whole thing.

People love pie any time of the year. Most people have pie at Thanksgiving, and math nerds especially love March 14th (for math reasons).

Thanksgiving dinner isn’t all about the turkey. As you plan your menu and are trying to decide on dessert, keep in mind that you don’t have to do it all yourself.

Here in Southern California, you’ll find many restaurants and bakeries with some of the best holiday pies around. Here is our list of the Best Pie Shops in Los Angeles. If we didn’t list your favorite, please let us know what it is in the comments.

By the way, it’s not necessary to save Pie just for the holidays. What about a Thursday? Or on Pi Day (3/14)? Feel free to enjoy it anytime you like!
