Where to Shop for College Dorm Supplies
Some of you may be sending kids off to a university this year, and they’ll need a whole extra set of things!
Wayfair
Order Online Only
Wayfair has frequent sales and a ton of back-to-school dorm room decor, including cozy rugs and bedding, bathroom items, decorative items, and more. You can shop by room or do a search on the words “dorm room” and get a whole list of ideas that will make your college student’s campus life more comfortable and homey. You might be able to ship items directly to your child’s dorm — check with their college to make sure.
Bed Bath & Beyond
Order Online Only
While Bed Bath & Beyond has closed its storefronts, you can still shop for amazing merch online. And it still has this amazing service: You buy the supplies your kid will need for their college dorm online with BBB, and they will have everything shipped to the university your kid is attending.
How cool is that? They even keep lists of items that are not allowed at each college, so you can avoid buying things your kid won’t even be permitted to have in their room. Plus, you know those famous coupons of theirs never expire, right? And you can use 6 of them at a time. Now you know.
The Container Store
Multiple locations, including:
710 S. Sepulveda Blvd., El Segundo, CA 90245
This store has made it their business to be the best at organization, especially for small spaces, so what could be better for a small dorm room? They’ve got it all figured out — and, like BBB above, they keep lists of permitted and not-permitted items (like hot plates — don’t even think about taking one into a dorm room!) for each college.
