Regional Centers in SoCal

Regional Centers are non-profits and can provide diagnoses and assessment of eligibility for services and resources. They can serve families from birth and into adulthood. There are 21 Regional Centers throughout California.

These Centers help coordinate services for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities, and were created by the Lanterman Developmental Services Act in 1966. They contract with the State of California, so there may be no charge to your family.
