There are so many camps in Los Angeles that offer day passes in Los Angeles! #summercamp #losangelessummer

Steve and Kate’s Camp
five different locations

At Steve and Kate’s Camp, “every aspect of our summer camp is designed to put kids in charge of their own learning experience.” Camp is designed for children entering Pre-K through 7th graders. Families can purchase Day Passes and use them whenever and wherever it’s most convenient.

Dan the Man’s Superkids
2347 Pontius Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90064

Children at Dan the Man’s Superkids will spend their days actively engaged and with a wide choice of activities including sports, gymnastics, arts and crafts, and more. Children can participate based on day-to-day enrollment, but at least 24 hours notice is required for that. Camp is generally offered 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and is designed for children ages 3 to 10 years old.

Fitness by the Sea
four locations

Fitness by the Sea is designed for children ages 4-14. Campers participate in a variety of water activities including surfing, swimming, knee boarding, and more as well as team sports (soccer, baseball, volleyball), and individual sports (gymnastics, yoga, fencing, and more). So that more children can experience Fitness by the Sea, in 2016 they began offering a transportation option. Three different bus stop options are provided (Westwood, Cheviot Hills, and Hancock Park). Additionally, families can sign up for as many days as you’d like, meaning there’s no need to commit to an entire summer.

Got Game Camp
Hancock Park Elementary School
408 S. Fairfax Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90036

Got Game Camp offers programs for children ages 4-14. Campers “personally customize their day based on their particular interests.” Campers select from indoor and outdoor activities, meaning each day can be a new experience. Additionally, families can sign up for a full-week, several weeks, several days, or day-by-day.

Child Education Center’s Summer Exploration Camps
140 Foothill Blvd, La Cañada, CA 91011

Summer at the Child Educational Center is where the fun is! Whether you choose our Exploration Day Camp series, Descanso Discoveries specialty camp, or our Summer Enrichment Camp, your child(ren) will have a stimulating, adventure-filled experience as they play, discover, and explore at our locations in La Cañada. CEC’s Summer Exploration Camps are for children entering 1st through 7th grade, with Day Pass options available.

Summer of Surf

Summer of Surf is a “surf and beach camp that provides daily transportation to the beach and has been serving Pasadena and neighboring cities for 6 years.” Children participate in a variety of beach activities including surfing, swimming, and boogie-boarding. Three different bus pick-ups are available in Altadena, Pasadena, and South Pasadena. Additionally, families can select individual days for children to attend and can choose to participate in the transportation that is offered or opt out.

Prime Time Sports Camp
four different locations

Prime Time Sports Camp is a “comprehensive sports training and recreation facility specializing in over ten different sports.” Campers will enjoy a low counselor to camper ratio and a variety of activities, and parents will appreciate the flexibility in enrollment (including daily/drop in options). Children’s Art Institute
two locations: Westland Campus and CCS Campus

The Children’s Art Institute (CAI) is an arts program for young people ages 5-10. CAI provides a dynamic, nurturing environment that inspires children to discover their unique, creative talents through a variety of hands-on workshops. Our summer program offers three sessions of camp. The program is designed to allow participants to choose their own schedule of workshops based on their interests and desires. We also offer a program specifically for ages 11-17 called Counselor-in-Training.
