I looked at the rollers sprawled out on the counter and wondered, “What the hell do I do with these?” My hair is naturally giant and except for a few unfortunate years in the 80s, I fight to make it stay down; not poof it up.
But I was getting ready for the OC Blogger Bash and I was going for big curls. After going online and reading a few hairstyle message boards, I had it down. Curl, spray, curl, spray. And then sprayyyyyyyyyyy. I had a little trouble breathing, but it was worth it.
When I got to the Bash on Sunday, a truly fabulous party put on by the Anaheim Orange County Visitor and Convention Bureau, most everyone was dressed up. MomsLA was a promotional partner for the event so we tried our best to look 60s glam.
The were so many amazing outfits, very well done with a lot of pearls, hats, and fake eyelashes.

My favorite part of the evening (next to watching people win incredible prizes) was the Queen of Heartz Fashion Show. The clothes, hair, and makeup were perfect 60s.
Two MomsLA bloggers won a spot in the show, Romy Schorr of Romy Raves and Lexi Rohner of Thirty Fingers and Thirty Toes. They looked beautiful.
At the end of the night, as I peeled off my false eyelashes, I was a little sad that the party was over. It was a lot of work to get that done up, but it was fun to be glamour girl (or glamour woman-of-a-certain-age) for a night. The next morning it was back to sweat pants, flat hair, and smudged eyeliner. But we’ll always have the Bash.

Cool snaps. So now my question is–What are you going to be for Halloween? More spray and fake eyelashes? Sounds like fun.
