Easter is one of my most favorite Holidays to celebrate with my family. We love to sit around and dye the eggs, have a family Easter egg hunt, eat and play. We also enjoy taking our kids to celebrate Easter Fun at some of our favorite places to visit. With Easter quickly approaching, l wanted to share with you a few amazing Easter Events that would be perfect for families with children of all ages:
Big Bunny’s Spring Fling
April 6-8, 2012
This annual event features a slew of fun activities—pet a fuzzy bunny, plant your own carrot, have your face painted, make a be-a-bunny craft, have your photo taken with Big Bunny (for a nominal fee), and enjoy children’s musical entertainment. This event is free to GLAZA members and with paid Zoo admission. Come join the egg-citement!
Let’s Move! Egg Hunts & Scrambles

Join us for an EGG-ceptional Celebration for kids of all ages! Egg Scramble and Egg-Expedition. Make and take activities, refreshments and prizes. $3 suggested donation. Regular Arboretum admission fees apply.

Easter on the Farm

Come celebrate an Easter Eggs-travaganza at Underwood Family Farms in Moorpark, CA. Easter weekend admission is $6 and children under 2 are free. Easter activities will take place in the grass field behind the Animal Center. The Animal Show & Tractor-Drawn Wagon Ride are included with admission. A few Easter activities included with admission are Easter Bunny & Easter House, Labyrinth, Finger Funnies Game & Balloon Dude. Additional Easter activities that require Tickets are Easter Egg Hunt, Face Painting , Easter Tattoos, Grain Train & Easter Egg Sling Shot.

Eco friendly and scientific indeed what you find in your kitchen is all you’ll need! Discover the wonders of natural ingredients to dye eggs. We will use turmeric, red cabbage, tea and other exciting ingredients to explore the science of vibrant colors and a healthier coloring options.
Egg Hunt Special Event

11:00am-2:00pm @ Kidspace Gardens $4 Ages 0-4yrs
Hundreds of candy-filled eggs are hidden throughout the Kidspace Gardens just waiting to be found! Children under four years old will hunt at 11:00am, kids between 5 and 10 years old will start at 12:30pm. The 2:00pm Egg Hunt is open to all ages. A basket to hold the eggs is included. Families can create EGGceptional art, make bunny ears and more. Please note that the Kidspace Gardens will be closed from 10am-3pm due to the hunt. Registration is non-refundable. Egg hunts are $4.00 per child, plus museum admission. Adults do not need to register for the Egg Hunt.
