At Mixon Musical Theatre NonProfit Day Camp, we believe the best way for your child to grow is through the magic of performing a show! Each summer, we immerse campers in the world of theater, where they act, sing, dance, design sets, and manage props—all while learning exciting skills like aerial silks, visual arts, and even mindfulness through yoga and meditation. Our unique approach blends technical theater with creative expression, ensuring every child has the chance to shine and take pride in the process. Over the course of 3 weeks, campers will rehearse and perform James and the Giant Peach the Musical – songs written by the composers of The Greatest Showman and Dear Evan Hansen. Culminating in a spectacular show that showcases their hard work and growth, kids and parents alike can take pride in their creative and collaborative abilities.
