Description:

These one and two week-long camps are all about the stage! Your child will enjoy learning musical theatre skills with the ability to showcase them at the end of camp in a mini musical performance for family and friends.

CalArts Summer Art Intensive for High School Students

Description:

Students 14-17 years old participate in a series of workshops and critiques led by CalArts faculty and alumni, attend artist talks and screenings, explore methods and spend time in the studio developing skills and making art.

Residential students will live in Chouinard Hall, CalArts’ BFA dorms, and both residential and commuter students will be able to participate in daily activities such as film screenings, games in the recreation hall or open swim in the CalArts pool. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in a field trip to Disneyland for an additional fee. All levels welcome to apply.

Our 35+ summer STEM camps offer the latest in technology, giving campers the opportunity to take their creativity to new heights, turn their ideas into reality, and gain the tools to achieve and exceed their goals. Our campers can learn how to Design Websites, Build and Code Robots, Work with Artificial Intelligence, Create Custom Converse & Vans Sneakers, Produce Digital Music, Join a Digital Rock Band, Mod in Minecraft, Design Games in Roblox, Compete in National Minecraft, Roblox, and Fortnite Tournaments, Code in Java and Python, Become YouTube Casters, Use Green Screens, Build Games and Apps, Train in Esports, Learn Digital Citizenship, and so much more!

We offer early arrival and extended day, catered lunches, and sports options at recess – there are plenty of opportunities for exercise, fresh air, socialization and fun.  Campers may also elect to relax during this time and/or participate in fun team-building games.

Register for anywhere from 1 week to 10 weeks. Regular camp hours – Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 3:30pm.  Early drop off at 8am (optional) and Extended day until 6pm (optional).

Fitness by the Sea Kid’s Camp (FBS) is Los Angeles premiere and oldest beach camp for children ages 4-14. With beachside locations in Santa Monica and Pacific Palisades, an experienced and spirited staff (average age 27), and low camper to staff ratios (6:1), FBS offers a full range of dynamic and creative activities in an encouraging and nurturing environment.

100% SAFETY RECORD– For the past 21 years, The Chief of LA County Lifeguards has called Fitness by the Sea “The Safest Beach Camp Ever Seen.” All of our camps cater to first-time campers and kids new to the ocean. No Prior ocean experience is required. Non-swimmers are welcome!

Outdoor Journeys is a non-profit youth development organization which operates a residential camp program, Camp Nawakwa, near Angelus Oaks, California. It is our mission to inspire individuals, through education and engagement, to connect with the natural world.

Camp Nawakwa offers Summer Camp sessions during the summer season and Family Camps throughout the year.  Activities included in each camp session include: Archery, Rock Climbing, Tomahawks, Slingshot Paintball, Arts & Crafts, Swimming, Canoeing, Fishing, Outdoor Living Skills, Nature, Teambuilding, Hiking, Drama, and Evening Programs.

Nestled in the scenic foothills of Sequoia National Park, River Way offers children, ages 7-16, an unparalleled environment to learn, thrive and grow. Extraordinary, highly trained staff encourage and guide campers to try a wide array of activities.

Through 75+ activities, campers will improve their confidence and enjoy activities such as waterskiing, horseback riding, ziplines, ropes course, theater, culinary arts, mini-bikes, go-karts, waverunners, gymnastics, film production academy, camping overnights and much more. With an emphasis on first time campers, River Way provides exciting experiences, proving to strengthen core values while increasing independence and social skills.

Campers, ages 7-9, remain with their counselors throughout the day participating in a variety of activities, while 10-16 year-olds customize their schedules.
