This unique nature-based experience starts with a Mon-Weds Adventure + Creativity Day Camp (9am-3pm) in Marina del Rey followed by a Thursday-Sunday Catalina Sleepaway Adventure at our nonprofit’s beautiful Onward Oceans Center in Cat Harbor, Catalina.

Your tuition covers the day camp + all transportation to/from Catalina via high speed ferry + lodging & meals on the island. You’ll pick up your campers Sunday afternoon back in Marina del Rey.

The Mon-Weds day camp in Marina del Rey allows campers to prepare for adventure via awesome outdoors activities, marine science, group & leadership exercises, and a big helping of hands on creativity. Our fun & engaging day program helps campers get comfortable with one another and with our friendly, supportive staff prior to our big weekend of adventure.

Catalina sleepaway!

On Thursday morning you’ll drop off your camper as usual in Marina del Rey. From there campers & counselors depart as a group for the ferry terminal and our long weekend of adventure at our nonprofit’s Onward Oceans facility in Cat Harbor, Catalina.

Description:

Join Family Go Global for Camp Pura Vida in Costa Rica! This is an educational travel experience for the entire family + day camp experience for the kids. From 9am-3pm daily youth are engaged in fun learning experiences at camp while their parents enjoy free time to explore, work, or simply nap by the pool!

The Camp Pura Vida experience offers youth a bilingual summer day camp experience that explores an array of subjects in a hands-on way. Topics explored include Spanish language and culture, eco-sustainability, and STEAM through adventure activities like surfing, sports, arts, cooking and more! Camp is led by experienced team of international bilingual educators from Costa Rica and the US, this highly educational (but fun!) experience integrates best practices in bilingual education, project and placed-based learning.

Camp SHAKE – A fun & balanced Los Angeles based sport program that combines both the physical and mental skills necessary to prepare athletes, grades K-8th; for performance and competition, in a safe & supportive learning environment.

Through a holistic approach, and an individual lens that focuses on each camper’s needs and well-being, a growth mindset is nurtured. The Camp SHAKE formula increases skills by teaching athletic techniques, drills, insight, and mindfulness. Participants are shown how to be effective team members, while they are enjoying the process of reaching their full potential. Camp SHAKE encourages athletes, ages 5-14 (grades K-8th), to fully embrace sports, and allows them to experience the rewarding feeling of their hard work paying off.

At Camp Wildcraft we grow creative, curious, confident and caring kids who feel at home in nature. We are small by design, a warm place where kids feel connected to one another and to the wild nature surrounding us. Our expansive  campus at King Gillette Ranch in Calabasas leads to nature trails we explore daily. During weekly sessions, campers create big, unique art projects, paint and draw, sew a pouch to carry handmade nature journals, hike and find adventures, build forts from branches, go on scavenger hunts, and much more! Each afternoon campers choose from a changing menu of creative and fun activities including swimming, theater, field games, fiber arts, clay work, baking and more. Each summer day at Camp Wildcraft is an opportunity to explore with all our senses, and find joy and wonder with new friends in the wild places around us.

HAWKs’ primarily outdoor day camps are designed to encourage children’s sense of wonder about the planet, familiarize them with local plants and animals, teach them the fundamentals of hiking, trail safety, LNT (Leave No Trace) and most of all, we help instill a deep sense of connection to the outdoors.

The HAWKs program is led by experienced educators and trained naturalists. We connect adventurers (our students) to the natural world in a way that helps them feel comfortable, and always having fun 🙂

Description:

A co-ed, traditional sleepaway camp for ages 7 to 16, uniquely located on a 900-acre ranch in the Sierras north of Lake Tahoe. Family-owned and operated since 1956, our limited enrollment and unplugged environment allow for a more personal experience and family-like feel that bring all of the camp together.

Campers experience more than the fun and activities that are a given of the camp experience, but also grow in self-confidence and character, fostering new friendships and memorable experiences that last a lifetime. Our entire program is centered around the principles of servant leadership and our guiding values that weave throughout the camp experience: inclusivity, empathy, stewardship, integrity, authenticity, and mindfulness.

A day at MMR is organized but not regimented and fosters spontaneity. Campers choose activities 2-4x daily, with weekends and evening activities devoted to camp-wide activities that bring the entire camp family together.
