Welcome to Act One Theatre Camp, a dynamic and interactive theatre experience where campers, ages 6-15, will spend each and every day acting, singing, dancing, and more! Join us as we rock out in our unique and exciting classes on the Glendale Community College campus. Whatever class they’re in, be it acting or movie-making, make-up or dance, or singing or improv… the spotlight will follow them the whole time! Camp Wildfolk is a child-centered day camp with 2 locations: West Hollywood and East Valley. Wildfolk is project-based and truly unique- offering a balanced blend of structure and choice, with activities and staff campers are wild about!
The spirit infused throughout camp feels “old school,” yet grounded in a mindful and intentional way of supporting and guiding children. Camp Wildfolk’s caring, silly, and wildly fun Guides are often cited as the #1 reason campers return year after year.

Wildfolk offers a variety of programs to tailor many age groups. Their main camp hosts 1st-7th graders with exciting electives and teambuilding opportunities. Campers choose 3 electives for each two-week “Classic” session: something active, something brainy, and something artsy.

Their specialized Young Folks program for rising Pre-K, TK, and Kinders sells-out early every year. The Guides-in-Training (GIT) program offers leadership opportunities for tweens and teens (7th-10th grade).

Youth Drama Camp Session 1: In this dynamic 2-week session, campers are trained in Stage Combat, Improv, Acting, Voice/Speech, and Elizabethan Song and Dance, which all lead up to a dazzling performance of an abridged Shakespeare play! Aftercare available until 5pm.

Youth Drama Camp Session 2: This 3 week session extends the excitement as Campers develop their skills in classes taught in Session One plus other classes like Voice/Speech, Puppets, Commedia, and Costumes as well as extended rehearsal in preparation for the joyous final performance of a Shakespeare play. Aftercare available until 5pm.

Young People’s Camp: Our youngest thespians travel through imagination to the world of Shakespeare and classical theatre with Shakespearean text, Theatre Games, Stage Combat, Music, Puppetry, Elizabethan Dance, and more! Aftercare available until 3pm.

Teen Repertory Intensive: In this newly combined session of Theatricum’s beloved Teen Summer Shakespeare Intensive and Teen Repertory, students take workshops in voice/speech, scansion/rhetoric, Elizabethan dance, stage combat, and more all while auditioning and rehearsing for their own production of an abridged Shakespeare play directed by a seasoned company member. Teens get the best of everything Theatricum has to offer!
