The Crow’s COMEDY CAMP for kids brings 20+ years of comedy experience, mixed with a hefty background in running youth day camps and teaching theater in local Los Angeles schools! The Crow built a stage specifically for your young jokesters! Focusing on stand-up, improv, sketch, storytelling, joke writing, stage presence, and self-confidence, your child will have an opportunity to learn joke structure while finding their storytelling perspective and voice through exciting play and activities. Each day will be mixed with team building, performance art, outdoor play, arts and crafts, and community service culminating in a final live performance at the end of each one-week session on Friday night for family and friends at The Crow’s main stage. Teenage Drama Workshop (TADW) is a conservatory-style program offering teens ages 11-18 the opportunity to develop skills in theatre arts. For the past 64 years, TADW has been held on the California State University Northridge campus. Our goal is to teach theatre arts and the importance of ensemble and teamwork through our intensive classes and productions. This summer, our program will culminate with HAMMERED: A THOR AND LOKI PLAY based on the Marvel series that features the two brothers as teenagers. Followed by FROZEN, JR.; the tale of two sisters based on the popular animated movie. Both productions offer our students a wide range of opportunities. Let’s Get Dramatic: An Introduction to Playwriting

Boston Court Pasadena is a nationally known incubator and producer of new plays, and we are thrilled to apply our literary and dramaturgical expertise to inspiring and educating the next generation of playwrights! The Introduction to Playwriting program is a four-week summer intensive for rising high school juniors and seniors taught by working theater professionals. Over the course of four weeks students will learn the basics of playwriting and dramatic narrative, be empowered to tell their story through theater, form an ensemble with their peers, and ultimately write a 10-minute play that will be performed on our stage by professional actors! The program is limited to 10 students, so we encourage students to register as soon as possible!

Shanelle Gray Studios – Make a Movie Camp

We will be crafting a short film from concept to final cut in 5 days, involving the students every step of the way. They will get the chance to help craft and create their own characters once a storyline has been written with THEM in mind. Upon completion of the camp, each student will be provided with a copy of the film for their own personal use and receive IMDB credit! (Its a real film!! You will have the film within 6 weeks!) The kids also get a red carpet screening at Raleigh Studios!!
Before and After Care: Students can be dropped off 30 mins early and picked up 30 mins after normal hours.

Join us at the Westside Waldorf School for a magical summer under the sun at our beautiful Pacific Palisades campus, just steps from the beach and the hiking trails of the Santa Monica Mountains!
Grades 1 – 6 campers will enjoy six weeks of specialty themed camps that combine classic camp traditions with the artistry and storytelling of a true Waldorf experience. Campers will take part in weekly walking field trips to the beach or hiking trails, themed camp activities, water play, dress-up days, and even special field trips for extra adventures!
