Our beach camp is designed to keep kids active, healthy and happy. Learn dance routines to your favorite pop tunes, go on silly scavenger hunts, build sandcastles, play in the ocean, make art projects, dress up for theme days, and even take a walk to the Pirate Ship Playground! Our summer dance camps are a fun way for dancers (ages 6+) of all levels to experience a range of different dance styles. As featured in Spectrum News1 last summer, the Mission of Upstander Kids Anti-Bullying Camp is to empower kids with effective Communication Skills, basic Martial Arts Skills, and good Social Skills, so that they can develop a resistance to Bullying that allows them to focus their attention on making the world a better place for everyone: to give them an appreciation for diversity and to increase their capacity for kindness and compassion. It is an immersive program for kids 6-12 years old, giving them more than the CDC’s recommended 60 minutes of physical activity per day for kids!
