Lights! Camera! …Act One! Welcome to Act One Theatre Camp, a dynamic and interactive theatre experience where campers, ages 6-15, will spend each and every day acting, singing, dancing, and more! Join us as we rock out in our unique and exciting classes on the Glendale Community College campus. Whatever class they’re in, be it acting or movie-making, make-up or dance, or singing or improv… the spotlight will follow them the whole time! Students can choose camps tailored to their age groups: Ages 5-8, 8-10, 10-14, and 14+. Younger students will engage in LEGO robotics, Scratch coding, and 2D digital art and animation, while older kids and teens will take on advanced projects like NVIDIA AI-powered robotics (earning NVIDIA certifications), coding AI algorithms, 3D game design and animation, AI space drones, and DIY space launches. Each day combines hands-on learning with indoor and outdoor play for a well-rounded camp experience. Get ready for an unforgettable summer at Camp Galileo, full of engaging STEAM projects, collaborative design challenges and classic camp fun, like silly skits, face painting and pie throwing. Every hands-on activity and outdoor game is designed by a team of educators, tailored by grade and calibrated for maximum fun and lasting learning.

Using the acclaimed Galileo Innovation Approach, our experienced staffers teach campers the mindset, knowledge and process they need to become bold, visionary innovators. Every day, kids transform their ideas into one-of-a-kind creations. Founded in 1967 as a non-competitive, non-traditional arts camp, Camp Med-o-lark opened its arms to the creative, the curious, and the free-spirited. Building on the founding, we encourage and embrace inspiration, experience, collaboration, imagination, individualism, equity, and inclusion. We have created a second home for campers ages 8-16 to grow their artistic abilities and nurture their talents. Campers can design their own program and set their artistic goals in just one session.

Each day consists of six activity experiences with time a rest hour (we call “Chill Time”) before dinner. We also offer day trips, excursions, and special events that campers and staff create. There is also built-in time to play, be social, discover, relax, design, laugh, and breathe. By the end of their session(s), they are proud to share their creations with fellow campers, friends, and family. We offer (and continue to evolve) activities and experiences to promote self-expression, grow self-esteem, and build a foundation for lifelong creativity as they develop as young humans.
Situated on 50 acres within peaceful, natural surroundings in the Maine woods, Camp Med-o-lark is the ideal setting for personal expression and ensemble collaboration. Our camp is located on a gorgeous lakefront property that also houses a historic farm, creating a magical village that awakens the senses like few places can. It is an atmosphere filled with creativity, arts, music, Theatre, activities, energy, laughter, and fun, where friendships and memories form to last a lifetime.

At Mixon Musical Theatre NonProfit Day Camp, we believe the best way for your child to grow is through the magic of performing a show! Each summer, we immerse campers in the world of theater, where they act, sing, dance, design sets, and manage props—all while learning exciting skills like aerial silks, visual arts, and even mindfulness through yoga and meditation. Whether campers are designing, building, coding, creating, baking, dancing, playing, eating, sewing, skipping—it’s all on their own schedule. Because when you empower children to make their own choices and be their own bosses, the children discover new reserves of confidence, resiliency, and creativity–all while learning to make course corrections and trust themselves as they go.

Families can buy as many days as they’d like, and use them at any time. No weekly reservations or commitments required–just show up! If for any reason your plans change, they’ll automatically refund any unused Passes in full at summer’s end.
