Amplify Sleep Away Camp is an overnight creative arts summer camp for girls ages 10 – 16, located in Ojai, California, less than 2 hours northeast of Los Angeles in the gorgeous Topatopa Mountains. Girls from all over the world attend. We are proud to be listed on GRL MAG as one of the top 10 sleep away camps for girls in the US.

Amplify Sleep Away Camp offers six different creative art tracks each week: Rock Band, Music Production and Engineering, Film Making and Photography, Coding, Journalism and Creative Writing, and DJ. These tracks will be your campers concentration for the week. We highly encourage our campers to stay over multiple weeks. They can choose to stick with their concentration all weeks enrolled or choose new tracks each week. The majority of our kids stay with us for at least 2 weeks.

Each day the campers also have 2 elective blocks where they choose from over 10 fun activities such as: swimming, film making, hiking, arts and crafts, and more. Fun weekend trips included in cost of camp such as : Surf lessons and beach day, Magic Mountain Theme Park, Hurricane Harbor Water Park and more.

Camp runs Sunday – Saturday. Transportation to and from LAX Airport provided for campers coming from around the globe. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY | ALL EQUIPMENT PROVIDED

Camp Spin-Off

Camp Spin Off is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that strives to bring together teenagers from around the world with one common passion: music. The only overnight summer camp of its kind, Camp Spin Off uses DJing and Music Production as a means to inspire creativity.

Our mission is to provide teens with a life-changing outdoor camp experience with the best soundtrack! We foster a unique summer camp community where music lovers, aspiring DJs and budding music producers are able to hear, create and experience music differently.

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! Through sound challenges, technical and theory based DJ classes, music production and business classes campers learn about music in a new way. When campers aren’t in the lab formulating DJ sets or transforming random sounds into a beat, you can find them on the zip-lines, learning how to salsa dance, playing water volleyball, tie-dying shirts or finding their zen in a morning meditation session.

Playa Music Summer Camp

Playa Music camp is the perfect choice for young students who are eager to begin their musical journey. During this two-week session, our teachers will familiarize the student with the latest trends and innovations in the music world as well as providing tools for enhancing creativity and musicianship. Students learn how to express themselves musically, enhance their technical playing abilities, and work in unison with other musicians in an ensemble.

Stages Performing Arts Academy

Join us this summer and make memories that will last a lifetime!

A three week musical theatre intensive program run by industry professionals with morning classes in dance, acting and voice. Guest artists will conduct workshops in audition prep, stage combat, voice-overs, improv, magic and more. Afternoon rehearsals will culminate in a full staged musical production of Alice, The Musical!

Alice longs for a life of adventure, but her mother thinks otherwise. Abandoning her thirteenth birthday party, Alice follows an anthropomorphic rabbit through a strange parallel world in search of a skeleton key that unlocks the door to a magic botanical garden.

At Steve & Kate’s, we believe that when you trust kids, they develop the confidence to trust themselves. So we created a summer camp that puts kids in charge. The Collective Sound

Description:

The Collective Sound Summer Music Academy offers three-week residential programs in Southern California and Barcelona, Spain, that provide young musicians, ages 12 – 18, with an intensive musical experience focused on collaboration. Students are placed into bands where they are guided through the original songwriting process with other young musicians from around the world. Students then record in a professional studio, storyboard and shoot a music video, learn about music technology, discuss the current state of the music industry and perform on a multi-show regional tour.
