Amplify Sleep Away Camp For Girls

Description:

Amplify Sleep Away Camp is a music and creative arts camp for girls. We are located on the Ojai Valley Upper School Campus in Ojai, CA. Girls choose between learning an instrument, forming a band, and writing an original song, photography and film making or journalism. In addition to their specific concentrations, we have several daily “camp” activities to choose from such as: Rock Climbing, Swimming, Zip Lining, Screen Printing, Music Video Making, Karaoke, Movie Nights, Private Music Lessons, DJ-ing, and more. Every day at lunch a Special Guest artist takes the stage and performs for our camp followed by a camper lead question and answer period. Our staff are recruited from all over the world and are world-class musicians and artists who enjoy spending a part of their summer giving back to youth through mentorship and instruction.

Gordon Goodwin Big Phat Band Camp

This week long program is a hands on, immersive experience with the Grammy winning Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band members. Including combos, improv and a final performance, you can’t find this experience anywhere else! Having amassed 21 Grammy nominations, four statues and three Emmy wins, Gordon Goodwin is the most decorated big band leader in the 21st century.

Opera Camp at LA Opera

Description:

Opera Camp is a three-week intensive July 23-August 11 (featured performer coaching July 16-20) for kids ages 9-17 who rehearse, perform, and participate in a variety of movement and technical workshops. At the end of the session, campers will perform an opera onstage for family, friends, and community members!

Your child will discover that as a young artist, they have great power and responsibility. Their power as storytellers, which can be used for good. And their responsibility as artists, to prepare to their utmost and be worthy of the stories. Auditions will be held March-April.
