At Steve & Kate’s, we believe that when you trust kids, they develop the confidence to trust themselves. So we created a summer camp that puts kids in charge. Summer gives us the freedom to reinvent learning in a way that allows kids to make their own choices and, of course, a few mistakes along the way.
Our summer camp empowers your kids to make their own choices, setting them up for a fulfilling and creative future. Activities include sewing, crafting, media lab, sports, karaoke, and so much more! Ages 4-12. Open 8:30am-5:30pm. Lunch and snacks included.

Girls in Charge
Our week-long thematic programs for girls entering grades 4-5 are rooted in creative play and exploration. Students will dive into a variety of imaginative projects that will culminate in a celebration and showcase of student work. Even though we will be working from home, we will collaborate and join our creative efforts to create unique performances and installations online! Students will pick up a supply kit from Archer that includes materials for all projects. Campers will “travel virtually” to different destinations all over the world (real and imaginary) from their very own home. On Fridays, family and friends will join the campers in the “reveal” of their artwork and creations!
Girls in Action
Archer has curated an exciting and varied program for girls entering grades 6-12 that offers weekly virtual workshops on topics ranging from podcasting to studio art. Workshops emphasize project-based learning and creative exploration. Workshops are designed to promote learning a new skill or area of academics led by our expert faculty.

They will build friendships while they learn new skills.

Have you ever thought, “Why Camp Kids Klub?” From our favorite songs, to hilarious games, special surprises and yummy treats, our camp has tons of unique traditions that campers look forward to each summer. We guarantee that we’ll keep the energy high and the fun flowing throughout the camp day!
We believe that camp is an essential experience in a child’s life. Camp is about the feeling that anything is possible. Children should spend their time at camp on adventures and having dynamic experiences- learning, playing, making lifelong friends, and being surrounded by people that inspire them.
As our camp song says, “In 1995, Kids Klub arrived!”, and we have been perfecting summer camp ever since! Here are some of our favorite things!
Above all, Camp Kids Klub is all about friendships, new and old! Whether you have been coming to camp for five years or it is your first day, you can count on making friends right away. To that end, we do team building first thing every Monday morning so that campers get to know one another and their counselors. Moreover, throughout the week we continue to play wacky games during group time to solidify these bonds. We believe that camp friendships are some of the strongest friendships you can have. We love seeing those friendships grow year after year!
Each week at Camp Kids Klub is organized around an exciting Theme. Hence, during “International Week” we learn about different countries and cultures through cooking, dance, art, and sports, and every child gets their very own passport! For “Island Adventure Week” we’ll act like pirates and have a Luau party! Another favorite at Camp Kids Klub is “Olympic Week”, our annual all-camp competition between the Yellow, Blue, and Green Team, who will win this year!? No matter the theme, we plan events that everyone will enjoy!
Finally, this is your opportunity to be a cowboy, alien, wizard, or superhero! We will have a costume contest with prizes for everyone who dresses up. Staff look forward to dress-up days as much as the campers! Don’t be surprised if your counselor suddenly turns into a purple-haired Rock Star!
Camp StarCrest is a co-ed sleep away camp with academic, art, athletic, aquatic, and adventure activities. All activities are centered around our 5-Star Values that promote friendship, confidence, curiosity, service, and leadership. This summer even though we are not able to meet in-person, we will be having an interactive, virtual camp experience that promotes the same values from the comfort and safety of your home! Online programs include STEM, Art, Film, Acting, Fitness, Dance, Cheer, Book Club, or a combination of activities. We are confident that later in the summer/ fall we’ll be able to provide in-person meet ups (hiking, beach trips, art days, camp outs, etc) for our families.

Registration opens May 25th for our new virtual Spanish immersion camp for campers ages 4-15! Campers are placed into small groups of 3-5 campers according to age and Spanish-speaking ability. Our camp delivers interactivity through our innovative curriculum and dynamic routines with native speaking counselors.
BOOST YOUR CULTURAL COMPETENCY THIS SUMMER WITH US!
The second best thing to traveling to Spanish-speaking countries is preparing for that travel! Choosing an online adventure this summer for your children can seem daunting. Your school-based programs may have fallen flat, but as camp professionals we have 7+ years of experience creating camp spirit, meeting new challenges, and creating memories for our campers. This summer will be no different in that regard!
Starting with our exploration of Guatemala, Bolivia, and Venezuela, we have built in a number of interactive surprises that will bring cultural exploration to life in ways that are memorable and meaningful!
HOW IS THE KALLPACHAY VIRTUAL CAMP EXPERIENCE UNIQUE?
Summer curriculum includes Magnificent Geography of Guatemala, Animal Habitats of Bolivia, and Musical Rhythms of Venezuela with weekly sign-ups through July. Central to all of our programs (which now includes the online experience) is our focus on speaking practice through games to help campers enjoy and advance in learning Spanish as a second language! Before camp begins we connect with our families to help match their camper to their perfect group according to their age and level. Our youngest campers will be placed in groups of no more than 4 campers, and our older campers will be placed in groups of no more than 6 campers.
OUR SCHEDULE AND RATES
DATES: Weekdays, June 22-July 31st (join us for all 6 weeks, or for any combination of 1-5 weeks!)
TIME SLOTS: 9-11am or 12-2pm (PDT) (pick one or the other)
Each two-hour session begins with a Chirp-In with all camp groups of the same Spanish level. In this 15-minute prep time we review the goals, share reminders, and learn simple songs and chants to start each day off with joyous camp spirit! This is also a time for our older campers to practicing their leadership skills.
Following the Chirp-In, our counselor-camper groups move into their break-out rooms for Spanish with Loreto (35-40 minutes). Spanish with Loreto includes, skits, games, and active-learning activities, all with a focus on encouraging our campers to advance through speaking practice.
Campers then enjoy a well-deserved 15-20 minute snack in which we continue to foster social and language growth with the option to stay engaged with their counselor and group. Now that campers have full bellies they are ready for some creative fun in our final 40-minute block of project time, simplified for the online experience!
Chirp-Out is when we meet back up with all groups from 4:30-5pm PDT and include programming to round out the day and leave our campers excited for what is to come. We will include opportunities for families to participate, feature surprise guests, counselor challenges, and so much more!
Parents receive a material list in advance so they can prepare with simple craft supplies for their camper for each camp session.
Parents provide a prepped snack each day and campers can choose to stay with the group at snack time with a guided interactive social time while also learning more Spanish vocabulary talking about food preferences and more!
Counselors help foster communication and socio-emotional growth throughout the camp season and it all starts with a mindset that children learn best with guided challenges and modeling of how to support one another.
We teach our campers how to participate in challenges, work as a team, and overcome obstacles. Every Wednesday we have fun spirit days, including Pollywood, Silly Taco Day, Cowboys vs. Aliens, Animal Parade, Board Game Day, and Music Day.
To advance language learning we engage campers in interactive conversation to encourage practice speaking and gradually build up their confidence through songs, games, challenges, exercise, and a lot of camp spirit!
