Students 14-17 years old participate in a series of workshops and critiques led by CalArts faculty and alumni, attend artist talks and screenings, explore methods and spend time in the studio developing skills and making art.
Residential students will live in Chouinard Hall, CalArts’ BFA dorms, and both residential and commuter students will be able to participate in daily activities such as film screenings, games in the recreation hall or open swim in the CalArts pool. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in a field trip to Disneyland for an additional fee. All levels welcome to apply.

Camp Wildfolk is taking their adored child-centered and project-based approach to the virtual world this Summer. Campers have a structured schedule with small-group activities including: camper community groups and choice of electives in their 3 activity rotations: movement, innovation (aka brainy stuff), and creativity (aka artsy stuff). Campers aren’t just sitting & staring at a screen for hours on end… It’s live, interactive, and wildly engaging fun! Wildfolk Guides are pros at helping kids nurture community and connection. Activities will need little to no in-person adult support and supply lists will be sent in advance (with options to purchase no-contact supply boxes). Virtual Camp is best suited for *1st-7th graders.

Destination Science is excited to offer 4 all new online STEM topics each week starting July 6, 2020 through August & beyond to help engage your kids. Join your Destination Science teacher LIVE online Monday- Friday for 2 full hours of hands-on STEM fun. Each camper will receive:

Looking for a digital experience for this summer? Look no further! STAR’s Solar System Camps are low ratio digital camps enhanced with a suite of online tools including Google Classroom and Zoom to maximize interactivity.
Although digital in design, space for these camps are limited since teachers work directly with campers from 9 am to 3 pm. Furthermore, to insure a fun camp the entire family can enjoy, materials for these online versions of our summer camps will be provided.
