Atwater Photo Camp

Type: Day Camp, Photography

Description:

APC is a fun an exciting photography learning experience that expands technical abilities and liberates creative vision. The 5 day adventure begins with a basic overview of camera functions and ends with an exhibition showcasing the kids’ work from the week. Through a series games, scavenger hunts and expeditions, we focus on light and composition as a means to express ourselves. We learn through instruction and practice how to make images, rather than take them. Overall, the experience inspires kids to explore their world in a deeper way, it challenges their perspective, and it helps them discover and develop their own unique voice.
