Day Camp

Aloha Beach Camp

Type: Beach, Day Camp

Step your child’s summer up a notch with an epic day camp experience they won’t find anywhere else. Learn to surf, jet ski, boogie board and more at Aloha Beach Camp in Los Angeles!

Aloha Beach Camp is L.A.’s most comprehensive aquatic sports day camp program with over 200 safe and fun beach, lake, and ocean activities for kids and teens ages 4 to 15.

We take day trips to L.A.’s best beaches, lakes, and water parks like Zuma, Paradise Cove, Castaic Lake, Hurricane Harbor and more where campers enjoy instructional surfing, jet skiing, ocean kayaking, and countless other seaside activities supervised by lifeguard-certified counselors who have your child’s safety in mind. No prior beach or ocean experience is necessary because our counselors will be with you every step of the way teaching you the ropes from the ground up.

Your child will love Aloha Beach Camp but you, as a busy parent, might love it even more. Free transportation is included so you don’t have to drive your child to camp yourself. Enjoy our flexible day-by-by registration format where you can pick and choose the individual days you want your child to come to camp instead of dealing with rigid preset enrollment sessions established by the camp. Plus, get a 100%, no-questions-asked, money-back guarantee if you’re not completely satisfied.

Aloha Beach Camp is L.A.’s only beach day camp to earn accreditation by the American Camp Association. This means you get extra peace of mind knowing you’re choosing an above-board program that’s achieved a proven level of trust and certification with respect to safety, quality, and fun for all participants.

Join us March 18 at Zuma Beach for an open house or contact us for a free private tour for you and your friends. We look forward to seeing you this summer!

Preschool – Pre-Kindergarten
Elementary (Grades 1 – 5)

Stratford infuses its STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) curriculum into an innovative and fun summer camp experience featuring themed, project-based learning and enriched academic challenges.

For the Preschool-Kindergarten age group (2.5 – 5 years old) – Campers learn, explore, and engage in a combination of hands-on learning projects and interactive play.

For the Elementary age group (first through fifth grade, 6-11 years old) – each 2-week camp session is built around a project-based-learning theme, where students collaborate to tackle a real-world problem by utilizing cross-disciplinary academic principles and new concepts in a fun and engaging way. This summer’s themes are planned to include:

Worldly Adventures – Create a new colony. Learn about infrastructure, ecosystems and more.

Innovation Design – Design your own Engineer’s/”Maker’s” lab. In the spirit of “making things that work and making things work better,” students will learn about design and engineering-thinking and then team-up to design their own projects.

Cooking Showdown – Cultivate your own food business. Learn about cuisine from different countries, entrepreneurship and economics.
