At Cali Camp, each camper will experience a variety of over 50 mini-adventure with activities and exciting special events to express their individual interests and curiosity. Whether visiting for the whole summer or just a week, every camper will reconnect with the environment’s wonder and reclaim the magic it offers.
Our philosophy supports an optimistic and educational FUN time for all campers, no matter who they are, what they like or whether they are outgoing or shy. We believe that children learn when they are experiencing things in a fun, carefree environment.
We believe in generating a summer that each camper can share with friends for months after they leave Cali. To us, success is happiness resonating not just during but also after a Cali kids camp experience.
Camp rates include transportation from stops throughout the San Fernando Valley and LA city.Connect:
Camp Wildfolk is a fun, modern twist on traditional Day Camp, with a growth-centered and project-based approach. We offer an experiential, explorative experience, where campers are given the autonomy to create their summer adventure by choosing between class options within each “Sphere of Fun” rotation, while still having the safety and accountability of a traditional camper group with Tribe Guides.
All Campers go on a Beach Field trip the 1st Wednesday of each 2-week Session and our oldest campers (Ages 8+ & GITs) go on an Adventure Field Trip (to places like Knott’s & Hurricane Harbor) the 2nd Wednesday of each Session.
Four Spheres of Fun: 1. Movement & Teambuilding, 2. Creativity & Expression, 3. Innovation & Exploration, and 4. Group Projects
At Camp Wildfolk, we’re about process over product. We love open-ended activities and provocations, where camper’s ideas and expression takes the lead. Our camp day is hands-on, messy, camper-centered, guided from the side, and encourages camper voice and choice, as much as possible. Campers at Wildfolk have the opportunity to explore, forge deep peer connections, take healthy risks, bond with compassionate adults, develop autonomy, and be authentically themselves.

When you think of camp, you might imagine big green fields. You might smell fresh air and the faintest perfume of sunscreen. You would hear children laughing and camp songs filling the air. Our days at Tumbleweed are filled with making new friends, exploring nature, trying new things, doing what makes us happy… Experiencing summer at its finest! At Tumbleweed, we focus more on growth and learning than just on doing activities. Having excellent counselors, programs, and resources is a give-in. The experience at Tumbleweed goes far beyond the tangible things we offer. We teach social intelligence, self-control, gratitude, grit, curiosity, optimism, and zest.
